Danse Aveugle  is a participative performance by Arthur Jules and Estelle Czernichowski. It is an experience to be lived with closed eyes, using touch. On the floor, there is a large map of made of carpets, designed in dialogue with visually impaired and blind people. To the sound of live music, it is an invitation to find trajectories, designs and shapes, to move according to the imagination of the blindfolded visitors.

Danse Aveugle was developed during a series of residencies at Belgian art institutes. This video, meant to give a first impression of the performance, was made during a residency at La Tour à Plomb, Brussels. The performance premiered in the Brussels art centre BRASS, as a part of the ‘Still Standing for Culture’ initiative.

Danse Aveugle was developed with the support of La Fédération Bruxelles Wallonie.
